Requests for access, retrieval, and/or deletion will be fulfilled against data residing on active servers and systems. Lumentum will exercise its discretion in evaluating such requests and may reject in certain instances, including but not limited to, if such request risks the privacy of others or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning Personal Information residing on backup systems). In the event data must be restored from backup systems, your Personal Information deletion requests shall be applied to such restored data.
Personal Information collected shall only be kept for as long as required to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. However, in some circumstances, we may retain Personal Information for longer periods of time, for instance where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, tax and accounting requirements, or if required to do so by a legal process, legal authority, or other governmental entity having authority to make the request.

Children and Privacy
Lumentum’s Websites do not target and are not intended to attract children under the age of 13. Lumentum does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 or send them requests for Personal Information.
Lumentum qualifies for the alternative option. We have a comprehensive privacy statement, and provide you with details on how you may either opt-out or opt-in to the use of your Personal Information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your Personal Information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.
