Julie Johnson was elected to the Lumentum Board of Directors in 2017.
 
Johnson is an established industry leader with over 30 years of product management, product development, operations, and technology experience. She joined Zebra Technologies, a global leader in enterprise-level data capture and automatic identification solutions, in 2018, and currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Computing. Prior to Zebra, Johnson held a range of executive roles including Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Verifone, Corporate Vice President of Product Management at Lenovo, Corporate Vice President of Product Management at Google, and Vice President of Product Management at Motorola.

Johnson also served on the Board of Directors of Superconductor Technologies, Inc. from 2018 until 2021.

Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from M.I.T., and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics from Albion College.
