Lumentum recognizes that confidential information often needs to be shared with customers and/or suppliers, and that some of the information is particularly sensitive. If our two companies have signed a non-disclosure agreement and you feel that you have a need to know specific information about our products or processes that Lumentum employees are not typically permitted to share, you may initiate a request for the information by contacting a Lumentum Technology Disclosure Manager (TDM) outlining what information you need and why you need it. Lumentum has a standardized internal review process for assessing your request and deciding whether a disclosure can take place. The review process timely balances Lumentum's need to protect its intellectual property and the requestor’s need for information, where reasons for the request must be sufficiently connected to Lumentum and to a project between the parties. 

When you are ready, ask your primary Lumentum interface to contact the Lumentum TDM to initiate the request process. Further details may be requested from you.

When Lumentum responds to the request:
•    The scope of the information to be disclosed is entirely at Lumentum’s discretion, and any content shared may include all, some, an abstraction, or none, of the requested information
•    The format of the information shared may be controlled or limited
•    The people given access may be all, some, or only, restricted individuals.

All information shared, and anything learned from that information, must be maintained strictly confidential under the applicable non-disclosure agreement, and cannot be shared beyond the people authorized. 

If the outcome of the request is unsatisfactory, you may then make a follow-on request for reconsideration/escalation. The escalated request must originate from someone holding an appropriately higher level of authority at requestor’s company. The Lumentum TDM will escalate the request within Lumentum accordingly.
